SSC CGL Tier 1 mock structure
Tier 1 is 100 questions in 60 minutes: 25 each of General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Our mocks match this exactly — the same 25/25/25/25 split, +2 per correct, -0.5 per wrong.
Tier 2 mocks are longer: 150 questions across Quantitative Abilities and English Language + Comprehension, plus optional Statistics and Finance papers. Each paper is 2 hours — we simulate this in the mock timer.
CHSL and MTS mocks
CHSL Tier 1 follows the same 100-question, 60-minute structure as CGL but with different difficulty calibration in Quant. Our CHSL mode adjusts question complexity accordingly.
MTS mocks cover General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude, and Reasoning — 100 questions, 90 minutes. We include this as a separate mode.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all SSC exam patterns supported?
Currently we support CGL (Tier 1 and Tier 2), CHSL (Tier 1), and MTS. CPO, JE, and GD Constable patterns are on the roadmap. Each supported exam has its correct question count, timing, and marking scheme.
How do Tier 1 and Tier 2 mocks differ?
Tier 1 is 100 questions across 4 sections in 60 minutes. Tier 2 is subject-specific — Paper 1 covers Quant with 100 questions in 2 hours, Paper 2 covers English and Comprehension with 200 questions in 2 hours. Our mock selector lets you target one paper at a time.
Is the General Awareness section up to date?
Yes. GA questions are regenerated monthly from current affairs, history, geography, economics, and general science. The question bank is refreshed to match the 6-month window most relevant to upcoming SSC exams.
Can I practice just the Quantitative section?
Yes. Every subject is available as a sectional mock: 25 questions in 15 minutes (Tier 1 pace) or 100 questions in 2 hours (Tier 2 pace). Sectional practice is especially useful for Quant, which is the highest-scoring differentiator in SSC.
What is the SSC CGL cutoff and how does the mock help?
The SSC CGL Tier 1 cutoff is typically 140-150 out of 200. The mock shows your projected cutoff position after each attempt based on the difficulty-adjusted score. Repeated practice with our cutoff tracker helps you identify exactly how many more marks you need.
Does the mock help with speed?
Yes. Every question logs time-to-solve. After 3+ mocks, your per-topic average time appears in the analysis — highlighting where you are too slow relative to the required pace. The Speed Drill tool complements this for pure time pressure practice.
